Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, SSC Napoli’s 23-year-old striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club did not open the door despite pressure from his entourage. Corriere della Sera reports this Friday that coach Antonio Conte is no longer totally closed to the player’s departure, despite having vetoed his arrival this summer.
We remain cautious, as nothing can be taken for granted here.
But a transfer is at least not totally impossible. Especially as long as no concrete progress is made on the contract extension.
However, Napoli still have time on their hands, and there’s nothing to suggest that PSG will make any progress this winter or summer. We’ll have to wait and see.
Paris can continue to follow this dossier with hope, but also prepare other leads that may be more affordable. Kvaratskhelia may never come close to PSG.
