Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old French national team striker who was struggling at Paris Saint-Germain, has been loaned out to Juventus Turin until the end of the 2024-2025 season without an option to buy. He initially bounced back well, and the Turin club announced its intention to keep him. However, coach Thiago Motta has since been replaced by Igor Tudor, and things have become more complicated for the player, with his future once again in doubt. According to L’Equipe, discussions are underway to extend his loan, notably so that he can play in the Club World Cup, although his current lease expires on June 30, in the middle of the competition. Paris, for its part, is not ruling out a new loan, but is demanding an easily attainable purchase option, payable in 2026.

“Talks have already begun with Juventus to extend Randal Kolo Muani’s loan”.

“Talks have already begun with Juventus to extend Randal Kolo Muani’s loan. As a first step, the Old Lady wish to keep the Frenchman during the Club World Cup, when his loan expires on June 30, in the middle of the competition. The Italian club, which is not expected to keep coach Igor Tudor, has already held talks with PSG to agree terms for a new, larger loan for next season.

Paris has not shown any reluctance, as long as the option to buy, payable in 2026, is easily attainable. Premier League clubs have also made advances in recent weeks to bring in the French international (26, 29 caps, 8 goals). Should Ramos and Kolo Muani leave, Paris will not be recruiting an axial striker. Instead, the capital club plans to reinforce its squad with a “versatile” attacking element.”

Randal Kolo Muani’s renaissance in a Juventus shirt (7 goals in 14 Serie A matches) has convinced the Old Lady to keep him beyond this season. Turin’s directors are in talks with PSG to extend his loan, initially for the Club World Cup and then potentially for the whole of next season. Juventus favours a paying loan with an option to buy, while Paris is asking for an obligation to buy at a reduced price, around 50 million euros, payable in 2026.

The player, under contract with PSG until 2028, could see himself staying in Turin, but interest from English clubs could reshuffle the cards, despite the fact that he himself has already mentioned the Premier League as a dream. On the Parisian side, the trend is towards flexibility: in the event of the combined departures of Kolo Muani and Ramos, PSG will not be recruiting an axial striker, but will be banking on a versatile attacking reinforcement, in line with Luis Enrique’s philosophy.
