This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Auxerre (10th) at the Parc des Princes for the 34th matchday of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, CET). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after having formed the Parisian squad for this match.
PSG don’t have a direct stake in this match, but they’re going to take it seriously. There’s Luis Enrique’s usual high standard, as well as the desire to end on a high note for the last match of the season at the Parc des Princes. This will be an opportunity to celebrate the French league title.
There are also, and perhaps above all, the French Cup and Champions League finals (May 24 and May 31, against Reims and then Inter Milan) to prepare for. This means we still need to build up our rhythm and confidence, while managing the workload for each player to avoid injury.
It’s hard to know exactly what the result will be, since only Luis Enrique and his staff have all the information. But we can expect a team closer to the one we fielded in the Champions League last time out than the one we fielded last weekend.
Possible line-up :
Kvaratskhelia – Ramos – Dembélé
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Beraldo, Hernandez, Doué, Mayulu, Zaïre-Emery, Barcola, Lee, Mbaye.
Out – Kimpembe (Injury), El Hannach (CAN U20), Kamara Tape, Zague (U19).
Possible suspension for yellow card: Mendes, Zaïre-Emery.
This would be effective for the 1st match of next season.
