Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, SSC Napoli’s 23-year-old striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club didn’t open the door despite pressure from his entourage. PSG came back this winter, and this time the Neapolitan club opened up to the Georgian’s desire to leave. Journalist Paolo Bargiggia now claims that the two clubs have reached an agreement, and puts forward the figures.
“Napoli and PSG are close to finalizing the transfer of Kvaratskhelia to France. 65 million euros plus 15 in bonuses is the approximate cost of the transaction.”
As long as it’s not official, there’s still a degree of doubt. Especially when it comes to precise figures. But that’s the trend over the last few days, as much for a completed transfer as for the amount involved. So it’s credible, and there’s every reason to be optimistic. Caution, however, until it’s confirmed.
