Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 23-year-old SSC Napoli striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club did not open the door despite pressure from his entourage. Rumors of a Parisian attempt this winter are back. Journalist Ben Jacobs confirms that negotiations are underway and that PSG is ready to make an offer.

Georgian winger a top target over the summer but Napoli refused to sell. Not as clear cut now because Kvaratskhelia has not signed a new contract.

This is further confirmation for this dossier, with at least one more concrete attempt by PSG, who seem to be fairly certain. However, the deal is much less certain. Even if Napoli could be a little more willing to listen, as Kvaratskhelia is still refusing to extend his contract. And a certain disappointment could be felt in his performances after the summer’s non-transfer.
However, we have to be careful: Napoli know how to be tough on business, and “big” transfers are rare during the winter. Nevertheless, there is reason to believe that PSG will recruit a huge number of players.
