Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 23-year-old SSC Napoli striker under contract until 2027, was the target of a concrete offer from Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato, but his club didn’t open the door despite pressure from his entourage. There is a new Parisian attempt this winter. Lasha Kokiashvili, a journalist with the Georgian version of La Gazzetta dello Sport, confirms the trend with a possible transfer to PSG.

🚨🇬🇪 Khvicha Kvaratskhelia wants to leave Napoli. The player does not plan to sign a new contract that the club offered him a few months ago, and Napoli are seriously considering selling the Georgian player in January.

However, there’s no question of an agreement yet, and a stalemate is quite possible with a club that’s always very tough on business. But a big move by PSG to bring in Kvaratskhelia also seems likely. It’s likely to be one of the big deals of the winter mercato, and we hope to see something concrete soon. Perhaps Napoli will give us an answer soon.
