After arriving from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has not found his place at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, but already a departure has been mapped out while the Slovak international was no longer playing. This Saturday, Turkish media reports indicate that he has passed his medical with Fenerbahçe and that the official announcement is scheduled for today.
“Fenerbahce completed the medical checks of new signing Milan Škriniar around 15:30 and the player will be announced on the official website between 10:30-12:00 in the morning after the photo shoot.”
The Turkish club had already published a photo of the player with the shirt when he got on the plane, so there was no real doubt. Apart from the medical, which was obviously a success, and the possibility of PSG getting out of its loan limit. But that would also be settled. Cher Ndour has been released by Besiktas, probably for sale, and Juan Bernat’s contract, which expired in 2025, has been terminated so that he can continue at Villarreal).
So we should indeed have official confirmation soon, with the hope of seeing Skriniar relaunch himself and his dossier become nothing more than a formality this summer. This will depend on the success of the loan. There’s also a risk of further lengthy negotiations.
