Randal Kolo Muani, the 26-year-old striker signed by Paris Saint-Germain until June 2028, was one of the club’s biggest transfers when he arrived at the summer mercato in September 2023. But he has failed to establish himself and a departure is looming. Sky Sport England contradicts Florian Plettenberg’s assertion that Manchester United are pushing hard for the Parisian player, with negotiations to follow. According to the English media outlet, there has been no contact between the player and the Manchester club since the initial inquiry. Tottenham and Juventus, on the other hand, are the current front-runners for the Parisian’s signature.
“Echo contraire à Sky Sport England, il n’y a pas eu d’autre contact depuis les premières demandes de renseignements de Man United pour Kolo Muani.
Confirmation : Tottenham et la Juve sont en pôle pour recruter Kolo Muani.”
We hear everything and anything. It’s the mercato. The player is being courted, and his problematic situation with PSG is making certain clubs want to strengthen their ranks. That said, Manchester United’s interest in the player (who is in financial difficulty) is perhaps a little too strong compared to reality.
It has to be said that PSG also have to put ingredients in place to raise the stakes. We can’t wait to see this deal come to fruition, as it would be good for both the club and the player.
