Ilya Zabarnyi, the 22-year-old central defender from Bournemouth (contract runs until 2028) and Ukraine, has been mentioned as one of the players of interest to Paris Saint-Germain during the 2024 summer mercato. According to several media reports, PSG is now taking concrete action.

It’s rare for all these media to be in agreement in such a short space of time, so it’s safe to assume that PSG are well positioned in this dossier. However, nothing has yet been done or made official. So the transfer is far from certain. But there could be genuine mutual interest.
This will undoubtedly be one of PSG’s main issues over the next few days, so let’s hope we can have some certainty soon. With the Club World Cup coming up on June 15, there’s a slight hope of getting something concrete without waiting too long.
