Having arrived in the 2023 summer mercato from Inter Milan, 30-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has not made the move to Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, and he has been loaned out to Fenerbahçe for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season. He has bounced back well and there has been talk of a permanent move to the Turkish club this summer. This Tuesday, Fanatik reports that an offer has been made.
“According to Turkish media outlet Fanatik, Fenerbahçe have made a €10 million offer for Skriniar.
The Slovak defender is keen to continue his career at Fenerbahçe if the clubs reach an agreement.”
Skriniar has made a name for himself at Fenerbahçe and may well wish to stay. Negotiations would be relatively logical, with an agreement possible if a transfer makes sense.
However, nothing concrete has been agreed yet, and it can be very difficult to reach an agreement. Other clubs could also try their luck for the Slovak. Let’s hope it all becomes clear soon. It’s always pleasant when the mercato takes shape.
