Having arrived from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has yet to find his place at Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, but already a departure seems likely as the Slovak international is no longer playing. This Wednesday, L’Equipe reports that he does indeed have suitors, as asserted by several media outlets in recent days.
“For Skriniar, several contacts have been made, but none seems to have materialized yet. These include Galatasaray in Turkey, at least one English club whose name has not yet been revealed, and a number of Serie A clubs, where the former Inter Milan captain is still highly rated.”
There are no concrete elements yet, with a confirmation from one of the parties concerned. So it’s far too early to celebrate. The deal could be very difficult to complete, and we don’t even know if an offer will arrive soon.
But we hope that these Skriniar rumours are not random. Particularly as regards Galatasaray, who have been mentioned several times in recent days. There has even been some progress.
Now we’re waiting to see how quickly things can move forward. It would be nice to have some clarity soon..
