Having arrived from Inter Milan in the summer of 2023, 29-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has not made the move to Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, and a loan move to Fenerbahçe is expected to become official in the next few hours. This Thursday, L’Equipe confirms what has been asserted recently: the player will not be replaced at PSG during this winter mercato.
“Confirmation of what we wrote this morning. Paris again told several influential members of the market today that Milan Skriniar will not be replaced this winter.”
We remain cautious, knowing that the mercato changes quickly and that rumors are not enough to have certainties. So we’ll have to wait and see. PSG may not have made any particular progress for the time being, while keeping an eye out for a possible opportunity.
But as we all know, the winter mercato is often closed, and we’re not expecting many new recruits. Even so, watch out for a “surprise”, especially as some media have mentioned a desire to find a defender.
