Mind you, this is still just a rumour and nothing concrete. A transfer of Upamecano to PSG this summer is not suddenly impossible. It just seems rather unlikely at the moment. There’s nothing in the way of a concrete attempt, and many other possibilities.
Above all, this PSG rumor comes in a classic context. A contract that’s coming to an end pretty soon. It would come as no surprise if this were to end with an extension, after pressure from the player’s entourage or simply a few media outlets trying something.
