This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) take on Monaco (3rd) at the Stade Louis II in an advanced match on Matchday 16 of Ligue 1 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, broadcast on beIN SPORTS in France). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after forming the Paris squad for this encounter.
Both teams have a busy schedule, with the Champions League last week. So we’re expecting a bit of rotation, which started on Sunday against Lyon. The Parisians have had little time to recover, with a trip to Monaco immediately afterwards. So some of the key players are likely to get a breather. Not to mention the fact that they then have to travel to Lens on Sunday in the round of 32 of the Coupe de France.
Possible line-up:
Barcola – Ramos – Dembélé
Doué – Neves – Ruiz
Hernandez – Beraldo – Marquinhos – Zaïre-Emery
Donnarumma
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Hakimi, Skriniar, Pacho, Zague, Lee, Mayulu, Vitinha, Asensio.
Out – Mendes (injury), Kimpembe (restart), El Hannach, Kolo Muani, Mbaye (choice).
Possible suspension for yellow card: Achraf Hakimi.
This would be effective against AS Monaco on January 5 during the Champions Trophy.
