On Saturday at Stade de la Mosson, Paris Saint-Germain beat Montpellier 1-4 in the 33rd round of Ligue 1 2024-2025. We then asked our readers, as they do after every match from now on, to vote for the best Parisian of the match. Gonçalo Ramos (23-year-old striker), came out on top.
An unsurprising victory for Ramos, despite a somewhat lacklustre first half. It’s hard not to be impressed by his hat-trick in the second half, including a sublime 3rd goal. All this without forgetting to work for the team, both in terms of defensive efforts and passing.
The competition is logically rather distant, but it’s a surprise to see Bradley Barcola (22-year-old striker) and Désiré Doué (19-year-old midfielder/attacker) complete the podium. They were in rather poor form, while Arnau Tenas (23-year-old goalkeeper) was in fine form, notching up an assist – a rare feat for a goalkeeper. And he wasn’t far off a 2nd. We were also thinking of Senny Mayulu (18-year-old midfielder), who was very interesting in midfield and scored a fine goal.
We would like to thank you for your votes, which will henceforth be organized after each official match. We would also like to point out that the podiums from the player of the match elections will be used to elect the player of the month.
