Gabriel Moscardo, Paris Saint-Germain’s 19-year-old midfielder (contract until 2028), has been loaned out to SC Braga for the 2025-2026 season without an option to buy. The Brazilian spoke to the Portuguese club’s official website following his signing.
Moscardo “I really want to be happy with this club.”
Feelings after signing for SC Braga:
“I’m very happy. I’m really looking forward to pulling on this jersey, getting on the pitch and doing what I love most: playing soccer. I really want to be happy with this club.”
Reasons for signing:
“It’s a very good project, a growing club, one of the biggest in Portugal, and it’s something special for me. Now, with this coach, I hope to learn even more, give my all and, together with my teammates, help the club achieve its goals.”
Moscardo “I’ve already spoken to the manager and all the technical staff”.
New teammates:
“I know João Moutinho, who is a very experienced player. I also know Ricardo Horta, because of his importance to the team. And, of course, I know Robson Bambu, who is my compatriot. But, overall, I followed SC Braga last season and I’m very happy to be here. I’m delighted to be part of the group and to meet my teammates, and I can’t wait to get out on the pitch and win.”
First exchange with the coach:
“Yes, it was very good. I’ve already spoken to the manager and all the technical staff. It was a very pleasant conversation; they gave me a very warm welcome. I felt that they all had a real desire to work and win, and I can really identify with that. In fact, that’s what attracted me to this project: winning!”
How he defines himself as a player:
“I’m a very happy young man, eager to help my teammates and see the fans happy. On the pitch, I’m a more defensive midfielder, but I also like to progress. I’m a player who gives everything on the pitch right up to the last minute.”
Casemiro and Marquinhos as models.
Role models:
“My role model is Casemiro, who has achieved everything in recent years, who also played in Portugal and had an excellent season here. I hope to follow in his footsteps, to one day join the Brazilian national team and win major European championships. I also admire Marquinhos, from PSG and the national team. They are two role models for me, and I hope one day to reach their level.”
Message to the fans:
“To the fans, I want to say that I’m really looking forward to meeting you for the first time, and you can be sure that I’ll give everything for you. I will fight for every point and every victory for SC Braga.”
