“Yes, it was magnificent with the supporters. We put a lot of commitment on the pitch. It’s a dream night.”
What did you change compared to the match against Real Madrid?
“The result in Madrid didn’t please us, and not settling for a good performance but going to get the result — that helps us do things more completely right to the end. Today we played the match we needed to. It’s a very strong team, but we played the game we had to play, and we put in a very solid performance.”
What were the two or three key ideas?
“First of all, it was about winning — lining up well, playing together, staying compact, and pressing them high. We also wanted to stay tight when sitting deeper. We have to be very happy tonight, and tomorrow we go again.”
