“It’s an important match for the people of Marseille, and thanks to the coach and all the staff who worked hard on this Paris team. We’re going to keep working — we also have an important match coming up against Ajax Amsterdam.”

How does it feel to score in a Classique?
“It’s not my job to score goals, but if I get the chance I won’t miss it. We’ve worked on it in training — there are high demands in training. We try to make the most of our strengths.”

“It wasn’t an easy match. It’s a team that plays very good football, presses high and puts in a lot of intensity. As I said at the start, all the credit goes to the coach because he knew how to stop them. We gave everything, we had to sacrifice ourselves and run a lot. It worked — three points at home, and we’ll keep going.”
