This Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Atlético de Madrid at the Rose Bowl Stadium for Matchday 1 of the 2025 Club World Cup group stage (kick-off 9pm, CET). Paris coach Luis Enrique must choose his starting 11, taking into account the opponent, upcoming matches and suspension risks, after having formed the Parisian squad for this match.
It’s hard to be sure which team Luis Enrique will field. He’ll want a competitive XI, of course. But he has managed the squad so that there are plenty of options. His analysis of the opponent is also important.
Not forgetting the physical management of the players, between those who were in the squad and those who had a rest. Not all internationals have had the same amount of playing time or travel. That’s a lot of data held only by the coach and his staff. But we can always make an attempt.
Possible line-up:
Kvaratskhelia – Ramos – Doué
Mayulu – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Mendes – Pacho – Beraldo – Hakimi
Donnarumma
Substitutes – Safonov, Tenas, Beraldo, Hernandez, Kamara, Kimpembe, Mayulu, Moscardo, Zaïre-Emery, Barcola, Lee, Mbaye.
Out – Dembélé (injury).
Possible suspension for yellow card : None.
