Paris Saint-Germain has recently made several changes to its youth academy, perhaps following the announced investigation into alleged dysfunctions and dissatisfaction. A new head of youth development has been appointed, and journalist Benjamin Quarez (Le Parisien) also reports that a new coach has been chosen for the U14 team.
PSG has found its new U14 youth academy coach. After interviewing several candidates, the club has selected Valentin De Matos, former youth technical director at RC Joinville (Val-de-Marne). He is expected to arrive soon.
We trust this journalist’s expertise with such a story; he wouldn’t be making such a definitive statement without proper knowledge. PSG is moving forward to find solutions for its youth academy, as well as its academy, to be as effective as possible while preserving the well-being of everyone involved. Let’s hope the changes decided upon will bear fruit.
