Ousmane Dembélé, Paris Saint-Germain’s 27-year-old winger, is preparing for the Champions League final against Inter Milan. In an interview on the PSG website, he shares his excitement and ambition to make history for the Parisian club in this exceptional encounter.
Dembélé “These are matches we’ve been dreaming of since childhood”.
What we want to play are matches we’ve been dreaming of since we were kids. A Champions League final is exceptional. And now, with Paris Saint-Germain, I’ve been making semi-finals and finals for two years now.
My team has helped me a lot. I’m in a position where I can be in front of goal and all I have to do is score, even if it’s not easy. But I’m often in a good position. We really enjoy playing together, attacking and defending together. I hope to keep on scoring more and more goals to be decisive for the team.
Dembélé “We really want to win trophies, so we push each other”.
The coach came in with a very clear idea. He’s changed a lot of things in the team and the mentality of the players has changed too. We’re really hungry for trophies. We really want to win trophies, so we push each other. I also think that the competition in this team is vital for the players to give their all. I hope we win this match.
