Paris Saint-Germain beat Inter Milan 5-0 (video highlights PSG/Inter Milan) this Saturday at the Allianz Arena as part of the Champions League 2024-2025 final. After the victory, French President Emmanuel Macron congratulated Paris on social networks and showed his pride.

« Champion mon frère ! »
Jour de gloire pour le PSG !
Bravo, nous sommes tous fiers.
Paris, capitale de l’Europe ce soir.

— Emmanuel Macron (@EmmanuelMacron) May 31, 2025

“Champion my brother!”
A glorious day for PSG!
Bravo, we’re all proud.
Paris, capital of Europe tonight.”

We can appreciate the attention, even if we were planning to celebrate the title anyway. Naturally, there’s a certain pride and enthusiasm surrounding PSG this evening. They have made history, with a team admired by all. It’s also good news for French soccer.
