This Saturday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Inter Milan at Munich’s Allianz Arena in the final of the Champions League 2024-2025 (kick-off 9pm, CET). On the eve of the match, Le Parisien has put forward a likely Parisian line-up.
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Barcola
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma
With the first-choice line-up having taken shape over the course of the Champions League, there’s less and less doubt as to which team coach Luis Enrique will field. In goal, defense and midfield, it would have to be a real surprise for it to be different from what has been suggested here.
In attack, doubts remain. Ousmane Dembélé (28) will start, most certainly in the centre, while Gonçalo Ramos (23) will probably be on the bench. We now have to choose between Désiré Doué (19), Bradley Barcola (22) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24). The latter two were announced for last week’s Coupe de France final, but Doué replaced Kvaratskhelia because of a headache.
Will his excellent performance put him ahead of the Georgian or Barcola in the final? Possibly, but not for sure. It could also be a tactical choice, linked to the analysis of Inter Milan. But Barcola’s speed seems tempting against a team that likes to play high and press. Even if it’s far from enough to make a choice.
