Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Paris Saint-Germain’s 23-year-old striker, spoke to DAZN after the 4-1 victory over Monaco (PSG/Monaco video highlights) on Friday at the Parc des Princes as part of Matchday 21 of Ligue 1 2024-2025. He talked about his celebrations with the fans, his first goal in Paris and his feelings in the capital.

What does it mean to you to have celebrated with all the fans?
For me it’s the best feeling, to score in front of these incredible fans, with an incredible atmosphere. I’m very happy to be here. I’m the happiest person in the world.
Can you tell us about that goal?
We’ve been working on it, and I wanted it to happen quickly. I worked really hard to score that first goal. Tonight it happened and I have to keep working hard to score even more.
How do you feel about the team?
I feel really good, everyone treats me very well in this team. We have to concentrate solely on soccer, and I’m very proud to be here with this team, with these players and with this club.
