On Friday, as part of the 31st day of Ligue 1 2024-2025, Paris Saint-Germain faced Nice at the Parc des Princes. After a match in which the Rouge et Bleu lacked attacking success, they lost 1-3. Here are our grades on the Parisians.

Contents
Goalkeeper –Defenders –Midfielders –Forwards –Coach –

Goalkeeper –

Gianluigi Donnarumma (4) – No notable saves, three goals conceded, even if he can’t do much about it. A match to forget for him.

Defenders –

Achraf Hakimi (5) – Still not the great Hakimi, but he fought hard on his flank. He offered solutions.

Marquinhos (4) – Certainly not his best of the year, he was content to simply keep the ball rolling. The defense wasn’t incredible with the goals conceded and the gaps in the middle. Replaced by Lucas Beraldo in the 69th minute.

Willian Pacho (4) – Solid in duels, he defended well. Like Marquinhos, he is one of this team’s key defenders, and his central defensive role was not sufficiently protected for Nice’s goals.

Nuno Mendes (5.5) – When he plays higher up the pitch, you can immediately see what he can contribute. He really came into his own in this match.

Midfielders –

Fabian Ruiz (5.5) – Scorer, involved, had a good game overall. He could often play faster, but that’s also PSG’s style. Replaced in the 78th minute by Senny Mayulu.

Vitinha (4) – Still as good as ever with the ball, but we’re noticing that his choices aren’t going as quickly at the moment. In addition, there have been a few minor errors in his passing and playmaking. PSG is less strong at the moment because it’s having far less impact.

Joao Neves (6) – Constantly battling on the pitch. Collected a lot of balls, but was rather average offensively. Replaced in the 60th minute by Warren Zaïre-Emery.

Forwards –

Ousmane Dembélé (5) – A good game from him, except for the efficiency that seems to be eluding him at the moment. Perhaps his state of grace is over. In any case, he provided the decisive assist for Ruiz’s goal. His misses cost him dearly in this match. Replaced by Gonçalo Ramos in the 69th minute.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (5) – Involved and lively defensively, he nevertheless struggled offensively. He was able to make a few differences, but he also needs to be more lucid in certain situations. He needs to do more, particularly in terms of his collective attacking play.

Désiré Doué (5.5) – He brings magic, but for that to be even more noticeable, his magic has to be effective. His overall performance was satisfactory, but he missed a few little details. Replaced by Bradley Barcola in the 60th minute.

Coach –

Luis Enrique (5) – Continued with his management style. Clearly stopped believing at one point. A fatalism that shows that the team is already in its Champions League semi-final. He again rotated his squad a lot during the match.
