Ousmane Dembélé, Paris Saint-Germain’s 27-year-old striker, spoke to DAZN after the 2-1 victory over Saint-Etienne on Sunday at the Parc des Princes as part of Matchday 17 of Ligue 1 2024-2025. He talked about the win and his brace.
Dembélé: “It’s nothing new at all”.
I had to keep my part of the bargain at bay?
Yes, that’s right. In the second half, we didn’t make it easy for ourselves at the end. They pushed forward, they played their game, they didn’t come here to defend. We could have scored two or three more goals. But we’ve got the three points.
Is this a new Dembélé?
No, it’s not new at all, I’ve always been like that. I’ve always been like that. Now that it’s sinking in, it’s good and we’re going to try and keep it that way.
