A few days ago, L’Equipe suggested that Qatar Sports Investments (QSI) would be willing to sell its stake in Paris Saint-Germain with a “handsome offer”. The majority shareholder quickly denied this, and Parisian president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi successfully responded to the journalist Ben Jacobs.
A very short answer, but also a very clear one. The plan is not to sell, but rather to keep moving forward. Hence the recent investments in the PSG Campus and the ongoing project for a new stadium. The aim is to take the club to the next level.
We simply grant the sports paper with a crazy proposal, QSI might be listening. That’s the principle of a “good offer”. But with a valuation of over 4 billion euros, we suspect it would be very high.
For the time being, it’s best to concentrate on what’s going on, with the constant desire to move forward in sporting terms and in terms of image (as well as revenue).
