Lucas Beraldo, the 22-year-old Brazilian defender, has carved out a place for himself but hasn’t quite established himself as a reliable starter on big nights since joining Paris Saint-Germain in January 2024 (contract until 2028). PSG Inside Actus reported on Monday that OGC Nice is interested in a loan.

Nothing is impossible; Nice has significant defensive difficulties and could be looking to strengthen its squad. Beraldo’s situation could make him a potential signing, with a possible starting position. However, nothing is finalized at the moment. It’s just a rumor.
PSG doesn’t have a very large squad, and the idea is certainly not to part ways with any players. Beraldo isn’t necessarily looking to leave, especially since he’s getting playing time and still has the opportunity to develop within a club with high ambitions. It shouldn’t be forgotten that he recently denied any intention of leaving.
