Ilya Zabarnyi, a 22-year-old center back for Bournemouth (under contract until 2028) and Ukraine, is reportedly on the verge of signing with Paris Saint-Germain in a transfer worth €66 million, including bonuses. There was even talk of him arriving in Paris this Saturday, but there has been no confirmation. L’Equipe explains today that the English club has delayed the trip.

“Right up to the end, the two clubs have not given each other any concessions in this matter. Ilya Zabarni thought he would be arriving in the French capital on Saturday, but that will not be the case. Bournemouth has not yet signed all the necessary documents. Paris now hopes to welcome its future player on Sunday.”

We are being cautious, as it is difficult to know all the details of such a transfer. Perhaps the trip was not planned for Saturday anyway. There are many factors involved in making the trip happen. In any case, it should be imminent. We suspect that Zabarnyi and PSG do not want to waste any time.
