Fabian Ruiz, the 29-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder who arrived from Napoli in the summer of 2022, has finally established himself as a key player, in addition to shining for Spain. This has fueled rumors, especially since his PSG contract expires in 2027. According to journalists Matteo Moretto and Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish international is on the verge of signing a two-year extension.
Matteo Moretto:

“Fabian Ruiz is on the verge of extending his contract with PSG until 2029.”
Fabrizio Romano:
Nothing is finalized yet, so we’re remaining cautious, as things can change very quickly in football. However, these are two generally reliable journalists. It would be very surprising if they were so certain without some basis in fact. Ruiz is certainly very close to an agreement with PSG.
Be careful, there are sometimes surprises in football (both on and off the pitch) and signings that fall through at the last minute, with another option opening up. But Paris seems well on its way to extending its midfielder’s contract, perhaps with a gradual transition towards Warren Zaïre-Emery (19 years old) or another talented player, like Mayulu (19 years old).”
