What can be said? PSG tried everything, were clumsy, and then punished. A classic scenario that needs to be analyzed. Football is a sport where this kind of match is common: PSG dominates, tries, but can’t score, so the opponent takes advantage. Credit must be given to Paris FC. Regarding the player ratings, PSG played a decent, average first half. Mayulu was subdued, the attack was too timid, and the midfielders dictated the tempo too much.
In the second half, we saw more chances and more creativity, but the goal eluded Luis Enrique’s men. This team has been on the edge for the last few matches, and tonight they were punished because the margin for error is smaller at the moment. They need to quickly rediscover that collective desire to score early and then manage the game. Instead, the Parisians, like Vitinha, did everything backwards; they managed the game hoping to score at the end.
