What can we say about this match, other than that the Parisians kept a team at bay that wanted to perform well, but lacked the talent to truly challenge them. That said, the Parisian players are responsible for this Italian team’s lackluster performance. Nuno Mendes clearly showed that he is one of the best players in the world; no one wants to face him, either offensively or defensively.
Ruiz was once again one of the players of the match, thanks to his intelligence and decision-making, particularly in terms of positioning. Finally, we thought Kvaratskhelia had been a bit below par lately, but he returned to his best form, lighting up the Parc des Princes in the most prestigious competition. Mayulu was a little disappointing, and his rating is well deserved.
