Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 25-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker, spoke to Sky Sports on Monday to discuss tomorrow’s Champions League semi-final first leg (second leg on May 6) against Bayern Munich at the Parc des Princes (kick-off at 9 pm, CET).
Kvaratskhelia: “We are capable of anything. We have confidence in ourselves.”
Are you highly motivated to face Bayern?
It’s not just because they are a great team, it’s also a semi-final. Every match is important for us; we want to do our job to achieve our goal. They have fantastic players, but above all, it’s a team sport. We are capable of anything. We have confidence in ourselves.
What’s your favorite goal recently?
The second goal against Nantes, I think. It was really beautiful. But there are still matches to play, and I hope to score an even better goal.
Kvaratskhelia: “We are very happy to have Luis Enrique as our coach.”
What has Luis Enrique brought to the team?
Our style of play is difficult for the opposition to understand. We always want to attack and be ready to defend. The players have a lot of freedom. We are very happy to have Luis Enrique as our coach. I am very happy to have signed here.
