Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the 25-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker, spoke to Canal+ after PSG’s 5-2 victory over Chelsea this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of the 2025-2026 Champions League Round of 16 (second leg on March 17).

Kvaratskhelia: “We’re still PSG.”

Two goals in 20 minutes on the pitch, that’s incredible!

Yes, I’m happy to have been able to help the team. Even happier to have won against Chelsea because they’re a good team. I’m happy with this match.

Many thought you weren’t capable of this kind of performance and that the team was tired. Was it a great match tonight?

It’s a great night, a great match. We’re still PSG, and we showed tonight that we’re capable of anything. We just need to keep going like this. We conceded two goals, but we need to analyze the mistakes we made. We’re happy to have won by three more goals, and now we’ll focus on the next match.
