On Saturday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain secured a 3-1 victory over Le Mans in Matchday 6 of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. Maghnes Akliouche (a 24-year-old midfielder/forward) came out on top.

It was a fine achievement for Akliouche, even if the competition was—unfortunately—a bit “weak” in this match. This is evident from the rest of the top three: Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (a 25-year-old forward), who played only 30 minutes, and goalkeeper Matvey Safonov (27). While they were undoubtedly good, we would have liked to see other players worthy of the spotlight.
However, within a somewhat timid PSG side, Akliouche made his mark—and scored a goal. The former Monaco player continues to display great comfort on the ball and is beginning to play more freely, moving away from a rigid, textbook style. His goal is the perfect illustration of this, and it could well give him a further boost moving forward.
In any case, thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the top three players from each match are used to determine the Player of the Month.
