Paris Saint-Germain won 2-0 against Lens this Sunday at the Parc des Princes in Matchday 4 of Ligue 1 2025-2026. After the match, Parisian striker Bradley Barcola (23) spoke in the mixed zone. He talked about his goals, before looking ahead to the Champions League and paying tribute to Presnel Kimpembe (30-year-old defender).
Barcola: “I’m working for that.”
“Goals from outside the box?
It’s not easy. It’s a lot of work. I’m not a player who shoots a lot, let alone from distance, so I hope to shoot more and I’m working for that.”
Any individual goals this season?
It’s up to me to do better than last year, even more goals, more assists.
Barcola: “To keep the trophy.”
More pressure in the Champions League as the defending champion?
No, we’re confident; we hope to get some players back as soon as possible to defend the trophy.
Are you in great shape?
I recovered well during the holidays, I feel good physically, and I hope that continues.
Barcola: “He’s truly a great man!”
Any words for Kimpembe?
As everyone says, Kimpembe is truly a legend! He was one of the first players to get me going when I was able to get back on track and gave me lots of advice. I can only thank him for that, and he’s truly a great man!
