Lee Kang-in, 24-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder/forward, was substituted in the 57th minute of Sunday afternoon’s match against Lens (Matchday 4 of Ligue 1), despite starting the game. This was due to what appears to be an ankle injury, although the cause and severity are unclear. He was replaced by Senny Mayulu (19-year-old attacking midfielder).

This is a major blow for PSG, who earlier in the match lost Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24-year-old forward) after a nasty tackle on the calf. Not to mention the injuries to Désiré Doué (20-year-old midfielder/forward) and Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old forward) that will last a few weeks. We can hope that Lee and Kvaratskhelia’s absences will be brief, but we’re still wary. Especially since the matches are coming thick and fast. Especially starting this Wednesday, with the start of the Champions League against Atalanta.
