Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, 24-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker, played only 29 minutes in Sunday’s match against Lens (Matchday 4 of Ligue 1), despite starting. This was due to a nasty knock to his calf. He was replaced by 17-year-old striker Ibrahim Mbaye.

This is another blow for PSG, who have already lost Désiré Doué (20) and Ousmane Dembélé (28) for several weeks during the international break. We can only hope that nothing serious is wrong with Kvaratskhelia, with only a little rest needed. But it makes sense that he’s in pain right now.
