This Wednesday, in a rescheduled match from Matchday 26 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Nantes at the Parc des Princes. After a match in which the Rouge et Bleu largely dominated, they won 3-0. Here are our player ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Matvey Safonov (6) – A well-managed first half. A fine save from a Habline free kick. Little to do in the second half.
Defenders –
Achraf Hakimi (6.5) – Very mobile on the right, good recovery runs, he had a quality first half. He was even able to be rested. Replaced by Lucas Hernandez in the 60th minute.
Marquinhos (6.5) – Focused, the captain made a positive impact on the game. He managed his match well, with no real danger from Nantes.
Ilyia Zabarnyi (6) – Some inaccuracies, some good recoveries, a mixed first half. A decent performance overall.
Warren Zaïre-Emery (6) – Versatile, he played perfectly on the left wing. Always very physical, he won back possession. A good match. Substituted by Senny Mayulu in the 60th minute.
Midfielders –
Joao Neves (6.5) – He runs a lot, exploits space. Without Vitinha, he was a key cog in midfield in the first half. Very intelligent in his play and positioning, he’s a real asset on the pitch. Substituted in the 60th minute by Fabian Ruiz.
Dro Fernandez (6) – It has to be said, physically, he’s still too slight for this kind of match. What he doesn’t lack, however, is talent on the ball, as well as the ability to win back possession. We also appreciated his interesting attacking runs. It’s good for him to play the full match. The off-season this summer will do him good to take a step forward physically.
Lucas Beraldo (7) – He’s not the best midfielder in the world, but he fought hard to win back possession. He needs to be careful with his distribution; he’s sometimes too casual. Very clean in his covering, he had a very good match overall, even if the opposition might temper that impression.
Forwards –
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (8) – Scored the penalty, always so generous in his efforts; when he’s on the pitch, you can really see the difference. He doesn’t give the opposition any breathing room. In great form, he scored a third goal of high technical quality. Another more than solid performance from him. Substituted by Ibrahim Mbaye in the 65th minute.
Ousmane Dembélé (6) – A decent first half offensively. He dropped deep to orchestrate the play, but some poor decisions marred the first half. He provided a beautiful assist for Kvratskhelia’s third goal. Substituted by Bradley Barcola in the 65th minute.
Désiré Doué (7) – It’s a joy to see him score like he did. He scored without hesitation, with determination. He was the architect of numerous chances. He could sometimes play a slightly less “complicated” style. He still has flashes of brilliance.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (8) – Management, high standards, a controlled victory – he managed to rally his team after the defeat against Lyon. He never gives up, and his players fully embrace his vision. Another step closer to another title for him.
