This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain face Slovan Bratislava at the Parc des Princes in the opening matchday of the 2026-2027 Champions League (kick-off at 9 PM, CET). On Tuesday, Le Parisien put forward a probable Paris lineup.
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov.
This is a very plausible lineup to kick off the Champions League campaign, featuring what is essentially the team’s current strongest XI. It eliminates the need to factor in minute management. However, the squad still offers plenty of options, characterized by fierce competition and great versatility.
There will be big-name players on the bench, that’s for sure—perhaps to spur them on a bit, or to give them a breather. In any case, not everyone can be on the pitch. Mind you, coach Luis Enrique knows how to spring a surprise and doesn’t tip off the media.
As always, we will await the official announcement—expected about an hour before kick-off—for confirmation.
