On Friday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain drew 3–3 with Strasbourg on Matchday 8 of the 2025–2026 Ligue 1 season. After the game, we asked our readers — as we do after every match — to vote for the best Parisian player of the night. The winner: Warren Zaïre-Emery (19-year-old midfielder).
It’s a well-deserved recognition, as the homegrown talent proved once again how valuable he is to PSG. Strong in ball recovery, he was also more proactive and accurate in his passing than in recent, more challenging weeks. It’s a pleasure to see Zaïre-Emery performing at such a level again — hopefully he can build on this and keep improving in the coming matches.
As for the rest of the top performers, the results are unsurprising. Bradley Barcola (23, forward), who scored a goal, and Senny Mayulu (19, midfielder), who also found the net, completed the podium. Just behind them came Désiré Doué (20, midfielder/forward), who provided an assist.
A bit more surprising, though, was the 5th place finish for Lucas Chevalier (23, goalkeeper). Despite PSG’s inconsistency in this match, he still managed to earn recognition from fans for his contribution.
