Let’s face it, PSG’s ratings often depend on the result. PSG not winning is problematic for many. We don’t contextualize, we don’t try to analyze the fact that a Strasbourg team put everything into this match while PSG managed to maximize its strength. Yet, Hernandez was quite good, Lee had a good end to the match, and Barcola had a good first half. Chevalier was spared, with a rather average, lackluster performance.
Now, it should be noted that if PSG doesn’t win, it’s necessarily a “bad” performance by the Parisian players. We don’t mention the winter break, the notable absences, or the return of injured players. In this match, PSG delivered a decent performance, and the ratings don’t really reflect that. It’s necessarily subjective. Fortunately, everyone saw Zaire-Emery’s excellent performance.
