Fabian Ruiz, the 28-year-old Paris Saint-Germain midfielder, spoke to Bild. He spoke of his summer and the Euro he won with Spain, where he was widely praised for his performances. For him, it’s not that important.
Ruiz “That’s my mentality”.
“During the tournament and afterwards, there was a lot more talk about me than usual, that’s true. But for me, it’s not so important whether I’m underestimated or not. I don’t think that’s the case. That’s my mentality.”
Ruiz has his faults, that’s clear, but he’s also an elegant player, capable of the very best. He has that fine touch of the great players, but perhaps lacks the physical qualities to perform at the highest level.
He looks like a number 8/10 from another era. However, he often performs well with PSG, he can greatly help this team and his Euro 2024 proves his worth.
