This Wednesday, in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France 2024-2025, Paris Saint-Germain faced Stade Briochin at Roazhon Park. The Rouge et Bleu dominated proceedings, winning 0-6 (video highlights Stade Briochin/PSG). Here are our notes on the Parisians.

Contents
Goalkeeper –Defenders –Midfielders –Forwards –Coach –

Goalkeeper –

Matvey Safonov (7) – Did very little work in the first half. He was serious.

Defenders –

Achraf Hakimi (7) – A fairly quiet first half for him. Had a good second half. Replaced by Presnel Kimpempe in the 62nd minute.

Willian Pacho (6) – We saw him very high up, very hard in duels, as always.

Lucas Beraldo (6) – Good at making play the team, but also took a lot of the ball with his head. Difficulty in the deep.

Lucas Hernandez (6) – Played fairly high up the pitch, with a lot of desire. Didn’t get up too much in the first half, remained disciplined. Replaced in the 62nd minute by Bradley Barcola.

Midfielders –

Joao Neves (6.5) – Lost a few balls, ran around a lot, as usual, but scored. A good first half overall. Replaced by Warren Zaïre-Emery in the 67th minute.

Fabian Ruiz (7.5) – Played a little timidly. Only his shot against the bar showed a little more character in his choices. As the match wore on, his performance grew in stature, culminating in a very clean finish.

Senny Mayulu (7) – A good first half. Available and precise, he was good in attacking transitions. He’s scoring again and growing in stature.

Forwards –

Kvhicha Kvaratskhelia (5) – A rather complicated first half overall, especially technically. He also forced his percussion a lot, forgetting to play more simply. Replaced by Ousmane Dembélé in the 62nd minute.

Gonçalo Ramos (8) – A real fox in the box, he scored. He was very mobile and had a number of chances, notably from corners. An interesting first half. In the end, he finished with a hat-trick, showing his worth once again. Replaced in the 77th minute by Ibrahim Mbaye.

Désiré Doué (8) – He was good, but sometimes lacked precision, passing too long and dribbling instead of passing. That said, he brings real dynamism to the attack. He was involved in all the right moves, making passes and scoring a goal.

Coach –

Luis Enrique (8) – I’m sure he doesn’t want anyone to get injured, so he followed the match calmly. He prepared his team well, especially those who play less. His PSG was very serious. He was able to rotate a lot of the players.
