For several years now, unfortunately, various Paris Saint-Germain players have been victims of burglary (Alexandre Letellier, Thiago Silva, Angel Di Maria, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho…). Le Parisien reports that Fabian Ruiz (29-year-old midfielder) has been added to this terrible list.
“On Monday morning, two minors were arrested while attempting to break into the home of PSG Spanish midfielder Fabian Ruiz, police sources said.
The robbery took place shortly before noon, in a commune to the west of Paris, the day after the players and fans celebrated their Champions League triumph in Paris. The player’s home was found in total disarray after being thoroughly searched by the two minors, who were caught red-handed.”
There’s no drama, with one person injured for example, and that’s the main thing. Even so, it’s an episode that can be traumatic, and we can only hope that Ruiz and those around him will be able to get over it. Of course, we’d like these sad episodes to stop. At least the burglars didn’t succeed, and the Spaniard knows they shouldn’t come back.
