It’s “official”: scores are of little interest when they’re given by people who either don’t watch the games, or already have an idea of what score to give a particular player before the game has even started. Beraldo, 3 points less than Pacho, for L’Équipe, is a way of putting the nail in the coffin for the young Brazilian, who didn’t ask for anything.
In fact, he played the most balls, handled the first few restarts well – albeit without causing a fracas – headed almost all the balls and handled the duels on the ground rather well. Granted, he sometimes lacked a little vice, but for his young age, he doesn’t deserve to be constantly tackled. For the rest, the match was pretty much in line with the scores. Gifted, Kvaratskhelia and Lee were “disappointing”, Ruiz rather shone.
