Bradley Barcola, the 22-year-old striker recruited by Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 with a contract running until June 2028, has taken some time to establish himself in Luis Enrique’s team. His rise to prominence has attracted a lot of interest. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, however, PSG have a clear position: they want to extend the French international’s contract.
The journalist has already mentioned it a few times, as have other media outlets, so this is just further confirmation today. Ever since the rumours of Bayern Munich’s interest began, it’s been hard to believe that PSG could sell their player.
Unless the player is clearly asking to leave, but that’s a long way off. Above all, he seems happy in Paris, and an extension is the most likely outcome for Barcola. He still has a lot to achieve in Paris. Which doesn’t stop certain clubs from making enquiries, of course. You have to try your luck at the mercato.
