Pedro Fernandez Sarmiento, often called Dro Fernandez, is reportedly very close to joining Paris Saint-Germain this winter. The 18-year-old midfielder declined to extend his contract with FC Barcelona, which expires in 2027, and is expected to sign with PSG for around €8 million. Journalists Fabrice Hawkins and Romain Collet Gaudin report that the player has successfully passed his medical examination.

Once this step is completed, there is no longer any doubt. All that remains is to wait for the official announcement to fully welcome this young talent to PSG. Dro Fernandez may need time to adapt and establish himself; he will need encouragement and patience. Even so, there is great hope given his immense potential.
