Bradley Barcola, a 23-year-old forward signed by Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 on a contract running until June 2028, has established himself at both PSG and the French national team. However, he remains something of a substitute for big matches, a situation that—according to numerous media outlets—has led him to refuse a contract extension. Consequently, a departure during this transfer window is being considered. According to Djamel and journalist Romain Collet-Gaudin, PSG is now prepared to sell the French international, who is being targeted by Liverpool.

Even though the player had merely indicated his desire not to extend his contract (without necessarily demanding a move this summer), Luis Enrique believes the situation would impact his performance and level of commitment.
The Spanish coach has therefore informed the club’s management that he is open to selling Bradley.

These are reliable sources, and the situation makes sense given that Barcola was not even included in the matchday squad for the Trophée des Champions clash against Lens this Sunday. This comes at a time when Mika Godts (21) and Ferran Torres (26) are not yet part of the squad. The message is clear: Barcola is no longer in the plans. Ibrahim Mbaye, an 18-year-old forward previously rumored to be leaving, does not appear to be in the plans either.
However, this does not mean a transfer is close to completion. The offer will still need to be attractive. Liverpool will have to make a significant move, though the figure won’t necessarily reach the €170 million mark that was previously speculated. We will have to wait for confirmation.
