Having arrived in the 2023 summer mercato from Inter Milan, 30-year-old defender Milan Skriniar has not made the move to Paris Saint-Germain. His contract expires in June 2028, and he has been loaned out to Fenerbahçe for the remainder of the 2024-2025 season. He has bounced back well and there has been talk of a permanent move to the Turkish club this summer. This Tuesday, Sports Digitale reports that the player’s agent will be visiting the club to negotiate, although it has recently been reported that all that’s missing is an agreement on salary in order to complete the transfer.
“Milan Škriniar’s agent comes to Istanbul this week to meet Fenerbahçe!
SportsDigitale.”
A credible announcement, the Skriniar dossier seems relatively clear with now an agreement to be found between the player and Fenerbahçe in order to finalize his transfer. The Slovakian has already confirmed his desire to stay, and a return to PSG is now unthinkable.
We can hope for an agreement soon, with a departure already sealed in the Parisian mercato. There’s still a lot of work to be done, but a finalization is always a good thing.
